Evergreen EMI Residential Home has several care services available to cater for all its residents individual needs. Our staff are fully trained in providing top quality care to all our residents. We offer a care plan that provides the basis for everything we do. This includes every residents description of their routine, their likes and dislikes and what respect and privacy mean to them.
When the care plan is developed it is discussed and reviewed daily on a shift to shift basis for the first eight week settling in process and after that there is a formal review held every month or as necessary. Family and friends are encouraged to visit Evergreen to discuss the care that is being given to their relatives and can speak to a member of our staff.
Long term care is for those residents that require temporary or indefinite stays at Evergreen. Our fully qualified and trained staff who care for our residents individual needs are here 24 hours a day, all year round. The staff at Evergreen will help with the supervision of everyday tasks like bathing, dressing and eating that may have become difficult due to poor health or ageing.
Caring for an elderly person full time can be very demanding, that is why it is important to have some respite care. Evergreen is here to help carers by providing a service where we can share some of the responsibility allowing the carer to take a couple of hours per week to give themselves some much needed respite.
When someone you care about comes down with dementia it can be a very stressful time for the whole family to cope with. At Evergreen we specialize in taking care of people with dementia or a related illness providing them with the proper care they require. We have trained specialists who ensure the correct care is received giving family and friends the peace of mind they deserve.
